DAVID GARCIA DANS David Garcia Dans graduated from the Escola de Imaxe e Son School of Sound Engineering in his native A Coruña, Spain. At Carasmatic Productions, he works in the capacities of sound engineer, music creator, and Spanish translator. He speaks Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Galician, and English. David is known in Spain, and increasingly in the US, as a guitar player. A master of tone, David creates full-scale pop recordings using only the guitar and drums, which he also plays. He came to California in 2002 to attend the Los Angeles Music Academy in Pasadena and studied for a year with guitar hero Frank Gambale. Since graduating, David has focused mostly on session work and producing. In addition to studio recording, he uses his engineering skills in making custom pedal boards, and is an ace with a soldering iron. In 2004, he designed Carasmatic Productions' in-house studio.
